Tips for the Office & Study
Wash the walls with our halogen bulbs to give a bright, spacious appearance.

To avoid washing out your computer screen, locate a light between your computer and the wall. As a result the wall itself becomes the source of diffused, no-glare illumination.

Consider indirect lighting from compact fluorescent fixtures or from compact fluorescent torchieres to reduce shadows and enhance visual comfort.

Avoid lighting directly over your work area, which will cause glare or put you in your own shadow. Instead place desk-mounted task lights (with Capsylite bulbs) on either side. Other possible light sources include downlights and wall valances.

We prefer to use electronic ballasts for all fluorescent lighting to eliminate flicker and noise.
